My Hopes for the School Year

My hopes for this school year are set high for me. I want to be able to remember what a great year I had doing the things that I love. I want to do the best in all of my academic classes, by keeping up with my school work and keeping up grades at a level that I am proud of. I am looking forward to Commerical Cooking this semester as well as, going to most of the sporting events and taking the pictures for the yearbook. My plans for the future at not set in stone. I would like to attend university and become a accountant. It would be nice to continue to Ukrainian dance while I am attending school.

Motivation

I chose this video because of the hard work these girls put in to learn this dance. Pavlychenko Folklorique Ensemble  motvates me to keep working hard and trying my best by just how they present on stage. This shows me that I am able to do anything that I would like too.

Faith in God

This video showed me that we can ask God for grace for ourselves when we need it. We shouldn’t feel guilty during our prayers to ask for grace.

A Glimpse in my Soul

This video is important to me because it shows me what others want in their lives, and they want to accokmplish them. I have lots of hopes and dream and with prayer and God’s presence, anything is possible. These dreams may seem impossible to others, but to us they are our goals in life. To go with this video, One thing I want is to forgive and forget. Even if it doesn’t happen now, but in the future.

Inspiration in My Life

Ken Yasinski, a catholic speaker with Face to Face Ministries in Saskatoon has shown me many ways to have more faith in God. It first started when his sister posted a video of him speaking about the meaning of the nativity. Ever since then his music, video blogs, his book have all been inspirational to me. When I’m am having a bad week or I am worried about something, his music helps me to cope and know I will get through all of this. Another one has to be a Ukrainian band named Zhyto. These guys have been very inspiring because they have been to 2 of the biggest shows in Canada and they just released their album. Johnny Wacko shared a story about how his mother was his inspiration. He continues to remember her in his music on his band’s album. This story made me remember the moments I spent with my grandparents and how to get through it.

Significant Event in my Life

The event that has changed my life for the better has to had been finding my true purpose in life. I have been wondering what I was suppose to be doing with my life here on earth. It started with me watching a video and then continuing to watching these videos up to this date. Another event in my life would be meeting all of these people from other bands and dance groups and having them share their experiences with you.
